Hello and welcome to the Round Up – Week 7 post for Quote Quest.

This week we have the the very lovely Chrisy from ToyforSir as our round up guest <3

I am so excited to be able to do the round up for QuoteQuest this week! This was a tough one, as all the submissions were thoughtful, with “from the heart” perspective. One of the things I love most about reading others, is the different views that prompt even more thought for the readers. Well done to everyone.

Here are my three picks, in no particular order. While I can only pick three, all the posts spoke to me in particular ways.

Master’s Pleasing Bitch – Freedom to be me

Julie, of Masters Pleasing Bitch wrote about how she has been feeling during this weird time we are living in now. All the things that we can not do are evident, but also recognizing the freedom of choices that we have. Julie also recognized this year as a year of learning. I think we have all learned a lot this year about ourselves and about others.

Victoria Blisse – Winning Battles with Sex and Kink

Victoria Blisse has always impressed me from the first time I read her blog. Her honesty about herself (to me) speaks to her strong sense of self even if she doesn’t feel it often. In this post Victoria talks about her need for control and the anxiety around it. I found myself nodding my head while I was reading this piece. I especially related to where she talked about how her D/s relationship gave her a sense of freedom. Freedom from making choices, making sure everything is ok, and preparing for the unknown. I completely agree and she expresses this so beautifully in this piece.

Lillith Avir – Our Freedom

I had not read anything from Lillith Avir, and that is about to change! I loved this perspective on freedom. The fact that freedom can be taken away and the history that this perspective has come from. This made me realize the privilege I have. While I have always known this, it has been an eye opening year around what that actually means. Freedom is fragile and not guaranteed. Freedom is precious when it has to be earned and obtained and then held on to.

So, those are my picks for this weeks QuoteQuest. I truly loved all of the posts and look forward to reading more from all of these writers.
