Hello and welcome to the Round Up – Week 21 post for Quote Quest.

This week we have the the very lovely E.L.Byrne as our round up guest <3 You can check out their blog here.

It was really hard to choose between all the great posts this week. Revenge is a difficult topic to tackle but everyone did it with class and their own individual style.. in true blogger fashion!

Floss Liddell- Revenge Is a Dish I Don’t Serve

“I believe that truly shitty people will eventually get what they deserve, it may take a long time for karma to catch up with them but I do think in time they will get their just desserts. I’m not the karma police, I don’t see it as my job to level the playing field or dish out revenge to make myself feel better. “

I liked how Floss explored her feelings and thoughts about this topic by taking us on a short ramble through her thoughts and ideas with her. I felt like we got a look into her thought process, something I always enjoy in her writing!

Miss Violet Grey- Life of Violet- A lot of work to do

“So in the face of fascism, as long as you draw breath, the fight against it never stops. Like I said, we’ve got a job to do. See you at work.”

I appreciate the perspective of folks from other countries when it comes to US American Politics. Violet’s opinions happen to pretty closely align with mine, but she expresses them much more eloquently than I ever could.

Happy Come Lucky – Shhh…

“If I had given into that impulse, I would have hurt someone that I care about. I would have damaged a friendship which is still important to me and that I am glad to say has weathered the foray into seeing if there was more there.”

I like their take on the quote. It was the only post that took the thoughts through a personal experience and showed how the process impacted them and a relationship close to them.

Thanks again to E.L. Byrne for being the Round Up Week 21 guest <3 You can check out other round up posts here

The post for next week’s prompt is live – you can check out Quote Quest Week 22 here and closes on Wednesday at 11pm GMT.

I look forward to seeing what you all do with it!
