Hello and welcome to the Round Up – Week 25 post for Quote Quest.

This week we welcome back the very lovely Victoria Blisse as our round up guest for week 25<3 You can check out their blog here.

Christmas is wrapped up with joy and warmth for me. It’s an expression of love and giving. I’ve had my own struggles with getting in the season over the last few years and I found a lot resounding within me with the posts for Quote Quest this week.

Sub Bee- I choo-choo-choose not to do it

I love the photo with this piece, even with the mask in place you can feel the joy radiating from it. I also love the rebellious nature of the whole post. Not doing the compulsory. I think we all need to take a little inspiration from Bee, to not just conform because it’s expected.

Amy Norton – I’m Not Looking Forward to Christmas

Coffee and kink’s post is deeply honest and heartfelt. It’s a reflection of 2020 and how eager she is to see the back of it, as I think most—if not all— of us are. I love the way she emphasises it’s okay, however you feel about Christmas this year, to go with it. We need to find our joys where we can and we shouldn’t be forced to find it in something we’re not enthused by.

Little Switch Bitch – Relearning to love Christmas

I have always loved Christmas. My parents were poor AF but they (and my grandparents) did so much to make it a fun and joyful experience for us all. I enjoyed Little Switch Bitch’s post because it shows a different experience of the season but the same level of love from her other half and how that has helped her find the joy of the season. Because after all, that is the centre of the holidays. Love.

Thanks again to Victoria for being the Round Up Week 25 guest <3 You can check out other round up posts here

The post for next week’s prompt is live – you can check out Quote Quest Week 16 here and closes on Wednesday at 11pm GMT.

I look forward to seeing what you all do with it!
