Hello and welcome to the Round Up – Week 39 post for Quote Quest.
This week we welcome back the very lovely Lilly as our round up guest for week 39 <3 You can check out her blog here.
I’m always happy when I get to do a round up. This way I get to read what others write, no matter what else is going on. And I always enjoy it. This #QuoteQuest round up was no exception.
The honesty and openness of Brigit’s post caught my attention and I couldn’t stop thinking about her path and experiences. I’m glad to have read it.
And also, she’s quoting one of my favourite poems.
“But if some of those experiences have been negative – because or our own doing or that of others – it does not mean they cannot be used to shape something positive.”
We all have erred. Again and again. And sometimes we erred with the very same mistake. But the truth is errors is the only way to learn.
“That is how we grow, and to miss out on that is the biggest mistake of all.”
Mistakes are normal. And most mistakes can be forgiven. But as Amy points out, it’s extremely important to know how to behave, once you’ve fucked up.
It’s a process and not always an easy one.
Acknowledge your mistake
And: Do not repeat!
“The best apology, after all, is changed behaviour.”
Thanks again to Lilly for being the Round Up Week 39 guest <3 You can check out other round up posts here
The post for next week’s prompt is live – you can check out Quote Quest Week 40 here and closes on Wednesday at 11pm GMT.
