Hello and welcome to the Round Up – Week 40 post for Quote Quest.

This week we welcome back the fabulous Amy from Coffee and Kink as our round up guest for week 40 <3 You can check out Amy’s blog here.

Floss Liddell – Being The Perfect Fit For Me

This piece was so raw and vulnerable. Floss’s frank account of grief and losing herself at the end of her marriage is heartfelt and moving. I’m so glad she’s found someone who embraces her for all that she is and the person she’s becoming. Everyone deserves love like that.

Victoria Blisse – Out of the Box

I loved Victoria’s prose poem about finding her own identity amidst a world that wanted to put her in a box. Religion, cultural normals, and family pressure are powerful forces that often work to keep us trapped as a person we don’t want to be. I could feel Victoria’s pride and power radiating off the page (well, screen) and it’s absolutely gorgeous.

Sub-Bee – A bit of an oddball

I felt sad reading Bee’s post about the rejection they’ve felt since coming more into their true self. I hope they know that their work and presence and voice is so valuable. I also agree with them very hard about the concept of sapiosexuality being ableist, classist, and pretentious af. Oh and their bright colourful boxers are fantastic!

Thanks again to Amy for being the Round Up Week 36 guest <3 You can check out other round up posts here
