Hello and welcome to the Round Up – Week 44 post for Quote Quest.

This week we should of had Mr. LittleSwitchBitch as our round up guest for week 44 however due to a situation beyond my control, he was unable to do a round up this week. So instead you have the very lovely Sub Bee this week – (Thanks again for helping out Bee! ) Oh don’t forget Bee blogs too – you can check out their blog here <3

Never Really Gone ~ Innocent Lover Boy

I think so many of us have those experiences of one sided relationships that are no good for us. The hurt we feel never really goes away, we just learn to deal with it as time passes by. The pain in this piece was evident and it clutched at my heart as I read it.

Forgotten Love ~ Little Switch Bitch

Well this one was a rollercoaster! Early love never really leaves us does it, and it always seems to be fast and hard. But youth and distance is rarely a combination that works well. I’m so glad she managed to reconcile those feelings later and realise it was for the best. And yet, perhaps there was still a connection even all those years later.

Dreams of New Zealand ~ Miss Violet Grey

This resonated on so many levels. The disconnect and isolation we have all felt this year is too real and being part of a marginalised community has exaggerated that. But also the envy we all have of how New Zealand have coped during this crisis. Most of us really can only dream of a life we can see our loved ones but it gives us all hope that one day soon, that will be us too.
